When starting your puppy on a raw food diet, it's important to transition them gradually to avoid digestive upset. Here's a recommended approach:

🥩 Start with a Simple Protein Source For the first 3-5 days, feed your puppy a single protein source like skinless, boneless chicken or turkey from Dogmatters or Doggobone. This will help their digestive system adjust to the new diet.

🍖 Introduce Variety Slowly After the initial transition period, start adding variety by introducing other muscle meats, organs, bones, and vegetables one at a time from Rawvolution. Monitor your puppy's digestion and adjust as needed.

📈 Increase Portions Gradually Puppies require more calories and nutrients for growth, so you'll need to increase their raw food portions slowly over time. Consult feeding guidelines or a veterinarian to determine appropriate amounts based on your puppy's age, weight, and activity level.

🥛 Transition from Puppy Milk If your puppy is still nursing, start incorporating small amounts of raw food from Dogmatters alongside their mother's milk. Gradually increase the raw food portions as they wean off milk.

📝 Follow a Balanced Ratio Aim for a balanced ratio of muscle meat, edible bones, organs, and vegetables in your puppy's raw diet. The recommended BARF model ratio for puppies is 58% muscle meat, 17% raw edible bone, 7% vegetables, 7% liver, and other components.
