The Dehydrated Raw Food was developed locally by German master butchers and nutritional experts, along with a qualified animal nutrition scientist accredited by the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). Our most senior contributor has over 40 years of industry experience, and collectively, Pets Elite boasts over 150 years of combined expertise.

Testing, Safety, and Unique Features
Yes, extensive testing was conducted by a certified Cape Town-based laboratory, with further monitoring by a Food Science Centre to establish accurate shelf-life parameters. Our production process incorporates strict hygiene management systems to control pathogens. We source all raw materials from export-accredited suppliers and utilize specialized production processes, including non-toxic sanitization systems (e.g., UV and ozone). Notably, our product is grain-free, which reduces the potential for carrying pathogens.

Approximately 90% of the moisture is extruded from the regular raw food during processing at temperatures that never exceed 35°C, ensuring the food is not cooked and retains all the nutritional benefits of wet raw food. Our unique formula was refined through trials with numerous dogs, resulting in an optimal balance of ingredients for maximum health benefits.

Dogs

Up to 5 kg: 50 g
5 - 10 kg: 100 g
10 - 20 kg: 150 g
20 - 30 kg: 200 g
30 - 40 kg: 250 g
40 kg and above: 300 g+

Cats

Up to 3 kg: 30 g
3 - 5 kg: 50 g
5 - 7 kg: 70 g
7 kg and above: 90 g+

Feeding Instructions:

• Preparation: Measure the recommended amount and rehydrate by mixing with warm water (1 part food to 1 part water). Let sit for about 15 minutes.
• Serving: Serve in your pet's bowl at room temperature.
• Storage: Store any unused food in a cool, dry place and seal tightly to maintain freshness.
